The parents of Demi Hannaway – who died after frequent abuse by her boyfriend – have cautiously welcomed a new law meaning all such deaths in Scotland will be reviewed.
They hope that means other families won’t have to go through years of fighting for answers like they have.
On Tuesday afternoon, MSPs unanimously backed the bill introducing the reviews.
