Parents in Aberdeenshiresay they’ve been “left in limbo” as four nurseries, are set to be mothballed.
Sandhaven, Crossroads, Ballogie and Glass nurseries, are to close in the coming months.
Aberdeenshire Council have blamed pressures on budgets and a decline in birth rates for a reduction in demand.
But parents say there’s been no consultation and warn the decision will be devastating for rural communities.
