More than 100 toddlers in Falkirk could face the upheaval of leaving their nurseries if changes to free hours goes ahead in Falkirk.
The local authority is considering removing options at private nurseries, meaning funded provision for three and four-year-olds would only be available at council-run establishments.
Private nurseries and parents are concerned about the impact it will have on children and childcare in the area.
