Paedophile jailed for 20 years after abducting girl

The judge described the case as "nauseating in its level of depravity and criminal deviance"

A paedophile who dressed as a woman to kidnap a little girl before subjecting her to sexual abuse has been sentenced to 20 years in jail.

Andrew Miller also used the name Amy George, and previously pled guilty to abducting and repeatedly assaulting the 11-year-old at his home in the Borders.

Miller – who ran a butcher shop – also admitted possessing hundreds of indecent photographs of children and watching pornography in the presence of the child.

On his release from prison, he’ll be under supervision in the community for a further eight years.
