The public has overwhelmingly opposed plans to shut Balmossie Fire Station in Broughty Ferry.
76% of people who responded to a consultation say they want the station to remain open.
It’s part of a review of fire services across Scotland but the Fire Brigades Union fear it could be up to a year before a decision is made.
