More than 30 families are still out of their homes in Brechin, almost two years after a devastating flood.
The town bore the brunt of Storm Babet in October 2023.
While many have returned home, there is a continuing question mark over what will happen to vacant council homes and what’s being done to stop the river overwhelming the multi-million pound flood defence wall again.
It comes as a new report says greater urgency and a better funding system is needed to tackle future flooding.
