Over 2,000 fines issued in first month of Dundee LEZ

Dundee City Council said £29,280 has been raised following the enforcement of the zone.

More than 2,000 fines were issued in the first month of Dundee’s Low Emission Zone.

Enforcement began on May 30, preventing certain diesel and petrol vehicles from entering the city centre.

The council says almost £30,000 has been gathered in fines.

The local authority says it’s monitoring the situation, as businesses report reduced footfall.
