One in nine Scots wildlife species at threat of extinction

It's hoped today's report will shine a light on Scotland's delicate ecosystem

One in 9 species are at threat of extinction, as the number of wildlife in Scotland continues to decline.

That’s according to the State of Nature report which looked at thousands of data sets from 50 different organisations.

Authors concluded that Scotland is a nature-depleted country, but said the trend is reversible.
