Oldest bottles of whisky ever discovered at Blair Castle

Part of the collection will be auctioned later this year

They were hidden away in a castle in Highland Perthshire for nearly 200 years.

Bottles of whisky discovered during a clear-out have been dated as the oldest Scotch in the world.

It’s said Queen Victoria could have enjoyed a dram of the malt during her stay at Blair Castle in 1844.
