Ofgem head says high profits ‘fair and reasonable’

It comes as one man told STV News he's paying more than £400 a month for his gas and electricity.

Power companies profits aren’t excessive, they’re fair and reasonable, says the chief executive of the energy regulator Ofgem.

He was asked about the £30bn worth of profits energy suppliers are making in a year.
