Nurses facing ‘unsafe’ staffing levels says Royal College

There's currently nearly 4,000 nursing vacancies in Scotland

Scotland’s nurses are stuck in a “vicious cycle” of not being able to provide adequate patient care due to “unsafe” staffing levels.

The Royal College of Nursing is calling on the Scottish Government to do more to stop workers leaving the profession.

The Health Secretary says nurses here are the highest paid in the UK and students have access to a £10,000 bursary.
