Social workers say they’re dealing with an increasing number of children who are living in damp and mould filled homes across the country.
A survey found two-thirds of them have witnessed youngsters living in such conditions, which can exacerbate or cause serious health problems.
Campaigners say the cost of living crisis and spikes in energy costs have made issues worse and have branded the findings a “national scandal”.
