Thousands of North Sea workers are being told they have to lose weight or they won’t be allowed to fly offshore, which means they could lose their job.
From next November those flying out to oil and gas rigs will need to be less than 124kg, or around 19 and half stone.
The industry says it’s due to safety equipment restrictions, but thousands are currently near or over the limit.
