North East foodbanks see increase in people using services

But many are also seeing a drop in food donations

As the cost of living crisis deepens, foodbanks around the North East are seeing the number of people who need their help increase.

New figures also suggest that the price of groceries has increased by nearly 20% in the past year, with charities warning their services will only grow in demand.
