There’s a warning NHS Grampian will have ‘no flexibility’ in its finances after the health board was forced to find millions of pounds worth of savings.
Members previously said it expected an overspend this year of around £68m.
Now, after submitting a plan to the Scottish Government which identifies £23m in savings, it says it’ll struggle with any increased costs in the coming year.
The health board says its financial situation, a lack of capacity and the lowest number of beds per head of population have contributed to long waits for some at A&E.
