No evidence Dundee murderer mentally impaired says doctor

A doctor has told a murder trial that there’s no evidence that the accused was suffering from a mental health condition when he killed a woman and her two year old daughter in Dundee.

Dr Gordon Cowan, a forensic psychiatrist at NHS Tayside, who met Innes 8 times, concluded there was no evidence to support the special defence that he was impaired at the time of the killings.
