Petro-Ineos bosses say there have been no credible bids for the Grangemouth oil refinery, and there is no prospect of saving it from closure next year.
Giving evidence to the Scottish Parliament’s Economy Committee, they said the refinery is losing £385,000 a day, and there has been no sign of the Government’s intervention to keep it open.
