Nigerian diaspora in Aberdeen celebrate New Yam festival

Aberdeen's Nigerian community is believed to be the largest in Scotland

Aberdeen is recognised as having the largest population of Nigerians in Scotland.

Now, an ethnic group within the community, the Igbo, is marking its unique heritage with a special festival.

And everyone’s invited to the New Yam Celebrations in the city.
