Nicola Sturgeon bows out at final FMQs appearance

She said her eight years in office had been challenging and exhausting, but a profound honour

In her final First Minister’s Questions, Nicola Sturgeon has thanked the people of Scotland for giving her the privilege of her life.

Opposition leaders challenged her record in Government over higher than ever A&E waiting times, drugs deaths and ferry delays.

But the First Minister defended her handling of the Covid crisis, her education record and introducing the Scottish Child Payment and she said she was confident her successor would build on that.
