NHS management bullying still rife in Scotland says union

A survey of doctors found only 52% were comfortable raising concerns at work

Bullying by NHS management in Scotland is still rife, according to the doctors’ union.

Five years after a group of senior clinicians went public with the problem in Highland, they claim staff and the welfare of patients are still being impacted by such behaviour.

One of those who broke his silence, Inverness doctor Iain Kennedy, now heads the British Medical Association in Scotland.

He’s been addressing their annual conference.
