NHS Grampian to continue providing nappies for newborns

It comes as the health board looks to make £23m in savings.

NHS Grampian say they will continue to provide nappies for newborns, after recommendations the service should stop to save cash.

Members voted for the move at a board meeting today, after submitting plans to the Scottish Government to save £23m.

Financial consultants from KPMG have also begun their work with the board to find more savings.
