NHS Grampian sees four times as many flu admissions than last year

As temperatures remain low, the NHS continues to face pressures brought by winter.

NHS Grampian saw more than four times last year’s flu hospital admissions as the health board battles winter pressures.

That’s despite figures from Public Health Scotland showing the number of people admitted to hospital with the virus had fallen this week.
