New wood burning stove legislation sparks concern

New legislation limiting where wood burning stoves can be installed has sparked concerns in rural communities.

The Scottish Crofting Federation say members are already facing high energy costs and rely on wood to keep their homes warm.

Under new rules, new homes and buildings as well as those undergoing major renovations, can’t have heat sources that produce emissions.
