New warship hall named after WWII female Clydeside worker

This hall being constructed at BAE Systems will be crucial in delivering a total of 8 Type-26 frigates.

A new ship building hall at BAE Systems in Govan has been named after one of the women who took on crucial roles on the Clydeside during the Second World War.

The Janet Harvey Hall will be able to build two Royal Navy warships simultaneously, and under cover.
