New service allowing hospital treatment to be given at home

In East Lothian alone more than 400 people have used the service in the last six months

With winter fast approaching and the population ageing, Scotland’s hospitals are once again braced for a busy few months ahead.

But more and more patients who’d previously need to be admitted to a ward are now being treated at home.
