New project to encourage writing in Doric dialect

It's hoped the new material will help raise its profile with a younger audience

The North East Doric dialect is sometimes considered very traditional and perhaps, old fashioned.

But a new project aims to change that by encouraging submissions of more contemporary writing in the ‘mither tongue’.
