New non-recyclable waste incinerator opens in Aberdeen

Waste from Aberdeenshire and Moray will also be transported to the facility

An incinerator which processes waste that can’t be recycled has officially opened in Aberdeen.

Council bosses say the NESS Project puts the north east ahead of the curve, before a ban on bio-degradable waste in landfills comes into force.
