New multi-million pound cranes begin operation in Greenock

The aim is to make Inverclyde a key shipping hub, and boost the local economy.

Two new cranes, costing £25m, have begun operations in Greenock.

The cranes represent the biggest-ever investment in the area’s container facilities.

It’s hoped they will speed up operations and make Inverclyde a key shipping hub.
