New gallery opens celebrating Scottish artist George Wyllie

The Wyllieum is an ode to the 'social sculptor' - who used humour to criticise social injustice.

He sailed a paper boat down the Clyde, and built a train from straw – this weekend, a gallery to immortalise the works of prolific Scottish artist George Wyllie will open in Greenock.

A selection of his sketches and lesser known works will be on display this spring at the Wyllieum.
