New direct Scotland to China shipping route sets sail

The maiden voyage berthed in Greenock earlier in the week - bringing packaging, furniture and textiles from the Far East

A million bottles of Scottish whiskey are heading for China as the first shipping route linking the two countries gets under way.

It’s hoped the route will be good for Scottish business.
