The new principal professor of the University of Aberdeen has not ruled out further job losses, as the institution battles a multi-million-pound deficit.
More than 40 staff have left the institution through voluntary severance and enhanced retirement.
It comes as an internal review revealed reports of a “toxic culture” at the university.
