‘My son took his life after a university error, there must be change’

Ethan Brown took his own life on what should have been his graduation day.

Ethan Brown was a kind, caring, and bright Glasgow University student, who was set to graduate with an honours degree in Geography.

Instead, the 23-year-old took his own life on what should have been his graduation day.

The university incorrectly told him he’d failed part of his course.

An investigation has now found he isn’t the only one given the wrong grades.

Ethan’s mum says Glasgow University needs to change to protect other students.
