A mum from Saltcoats faces a further three surgeries to correct the physical damage from a botched C-section and says the mental scars will stay with her forever.
In a letter seen by STV News, NHS Ayrshire and Arran admitted a catalogue of failures in her care, which Heather describes as “torture.”
It comes as maternity services across Scotland are once again under scrutiny.
