After a marathon of amendments, politicians are expected to vote on the Scottish Government’s Housing Bill tonight.
It’s set to introduce rent controls and new measures to help prevent homelessness.
But it’s being voted on against the backdrop of figures which show Scotland is falling behind targets on building houses.
Despite concerns, the housing secretary says the law will reduce homelessness across Scotland.
