A pilot scheme is to be launched in the North East to help support migrant fish workers. It follows a similar project in Florida which protects the rights of those working on tomato farms.
Fishing leaders say it’ll hold individual owners of vessels to account and will offer greater security to a braod spectrum of staff across the industry.
