The mother of a pregnant woman who was murdered by her husband is calling for greater protection for others experiencing honour-based abuse.
Just days before she planned to end her marriage, Fawziyah Javed was pushed to her death from Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Three years on, her mother has returned to Scotland, calling for more legal recognition of a hidden crime and help for those forced to suffer in silence.
