Mobility scooter charity ‘under threat’ after funding rejected

Shopmobility previously received £35,000 a year towards its running costs from NHS Highland.

A Highland charity that has provided mobility scooter services for three decades says it’s under threat after NHS Highland rejected funding.

Shopmobility operates on a shortfall for the full service in Inverness and Dingwall and has already had to make redundancies.
