Milestone reached in Cromarty green freeport development

New legislation to give tax breaks to investors begins today

A major milestone has been reached by Inverness and the Cromarty Firth’s Green Freeport, which it’s hoped will create around 10,000 jobs in the next 20 years.

The region is set to become one of the largest industrial hubs in Europe, for the offshore renewables industry.
