35 years after the explosion of the Piper Alpha oil platform, family and friends of those involved gathered today to mark the anniversary.
Hundreds were in Aberdeen today at the memorial garden dedicated to the tragedy, to remember the men who lost their lives in what’s still the world’s worst offshore disaster.
