Rab had just won the Scottish Championships before his untimely death.

Members of the cycling community gathered in Dunfermline to pay their respects to Rab Wardell, the Scottish Mountain Biking Champion who died suddenly last month.

The 37-year-old suffered a suspected cardiac arrest while at home with his partner, Olympic champion Katie Archibald, just two days after winning the elite men’s title at the Scottish Mountain Biking Championships.
