Marine protected area branded a ‘paper park’ by campaigners

They've been recording dredging and other damaging forms of fishing in the area despite it being given a protected status eight years ago

It’s been claimed the Government is failing in its promises to protect Scottish marine life. A Marine Protected Area near the small isles has been branded the ‘worst example of a paper park’ by environmental campaigners.
