It was one of the darkest days in recent history, but the snowdrop campaign shone a light on gun control in the wake of the Dunblane school shooting that killed 16 children and their teacher – and forced through a new law which made Scotland a safer place.
25 years on from that achievement campaigners and the community joined together once more to remember that monumental effort – hailed as one of the greatest ever examples of people power.
