Man writes play about experience after parent incarcerated

Michael was just six-years-old when his dad was handed a 16 year prison sentence

In his very first play at the Edinburgh Fringe a playwright from Garthamlock is hoping to shed light on the difficulties families face after a parent is incarcerated.

“Not Our Crime, Still Our Sentence” is a comedy drama based on the experience of Michael Phillips and his family after his dad was sent to jail.
