Man who donated kidney urges others to get checked for kidney disease

It's estimated more than 7 million people in the UK have chronic kidney disease.

Kidney disease is one of the most common chronic conditions in the UK but many don’t know they are living with it.

That’s why charities are urging people to check their level of risk and take action.

It has the backing of Lois Denham – who had a transplant last year – and the man who saved her life.
