Man warns over danger of holding a sneeze after tearing throat

A two millimetre tear to his windpipe left the 29-year-old Andrew McDougall in hospital

Have you ever tried to hold in a sneeze? It’s not something that might cause alarm for most people. But one man is warning of the dangers of doing so, after he tore a hole in his throat.

Andrew McDougall suffered the bizarre injury whilst driving last year. He was hospitalised, left fearing for his life.
