A man has been convicted of murdering his wife and their unborn child by pushing her off Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Kashif Anwar killed Fowziyah Javed in September 2021, when she was four months pregnant, after subjecting her to months of coercive control and domestic abuse.
The couple had been visiting from Leeds – Fowziyah, a lawyer who did extensive charity work, had been planning to leave her husband just days later.
