Man accused of MacRae murder seen scrubbing boot of car

A court has been hearing how Renee MacRae was 'deeply in love' with the man who is accused of murdering her and their son Andrew in 1976

Bill McDowell denies the charges, today the court heard how he had been scrubbing the boot of his company car in the days after their disappearance, more than 45 years ago.
