Majority of swimming spots found to have sewage contamination

50 of the country’s 89 designated bathing waters breached safety limits for bacteria since May

More than half of Scotland’s most popular swimming spots have been found to have unsafe levels of sewage contamination.

This also includes freshwater swimming with one of the most polluted areas on the list being Luss Beach at Loch Lomond
