Maggie’s Centres mark 30 years supporting cancer patients

Exhibition at Dundee’s V&A celebrates charity’s anniversary.

They were set up so that people living with cancer should not ‘lose the joy of living in the fear of dying’, and now Maggie’s Centres are celebrating three decades in existence.

The first site opened in 1996 in Edinburgh, and now there are centres across Scotland that provide professional and emotional support to cancer patients.

Now, to celebrate 30 years, Maggie’s Centres are getting a new exhibition at Dundee’s V&A museum.
