Lost footage of life in the Western Isles found 40 years on

It was a project to tell local stories by those who knew them best

Previously unseen footage of the Western Isles from more than 40 years ago has been shown to local audiences for the first time.

The Cinema Sgire project has digitised hundreds of videos taken during the 1970s and 80s that were thought to be lost.
